Unilever Kenya LTD emerged the Overall Winner of the Annual MSK Awards Gala.
With a 13-man judging team for the annual event, sought to recognize and honour top marketers and campaigns that support the growth of businesses, faced a major task as more outstanding campaigns were entered into the competition this year.
The gala event held at the Movenpick Hotel in Westlands was themed ‘Connecting the dots –telling the authentic brand story with Safaricom’s Chief Customer Officer Sylvia Mulinge being the keynote speaker at the event.
Organizations and individual marketers obtaining top honours in 17 categories being awarded this year included Product launch category – EABL with the Hope House campaign Under their Agency Squad Digital, Product Re-Launch campaigns of the year Scooped By KBC Group. #YOURSQUARE campaign by Interstrat Limited took home the Advertising Campaign and Sports Marketing campaigns of the year taken home by last year’s overall winner Safaricom PLC with the Chapa Dimba Campaign among others.
MSK is the national umbrella body for all marketers in Kenya whose key mandate is to empower and regulate the marketing industry. The society’s main objective is to develop the marketing practice, a role it plays partly through such awards that honour the best in the industry to inspire others.
This year’s winners included top companies such as Safaricom, Unilever, EABL, and KCB Group among others. Unilever Kenya is the overall winner in 2019, having topped in four of the 17 award categories.
